HOTEL OPTIONS IN & AROUND RISHIKESH (UTTARAKHAND)

1. Ananda-in-the-Himalayas, Narendra Nagar (minimum 2 nights): around 40 min drive from Rishikesh, a 100 acre of lush area to soak in pristine nature. Facilities include Spa, daily complimentary yoga, meditation & fitness sessions in small groups with adequate distancing, swimming pool (pool reopening is subject to state Govt.'s permission to hotels in general, due to Covid-19 limitations), multi-cuisine restaurant, rooms & suites and other facilities.
   
   Starting room category is called "Deluxe Palace / Garden View rooms": 45 sqm in size, they feature walk-in closets, bathrooms with windows overlooking panoramic views of the Golf course and the Palace, with life size mirrors and a luxurious bathtub. Each room opens onto large porches or balconies with picture-perfect views, ideal for a private meal.
   
   All rooms are equipped with a comfortable Settee with a footrest facing the balcony, a 42’ LCD TV, elegant writing and bedside tables, tea coffee maker, well stocked mini bar, electronic safe and complimentary Wi-Fi High speed internet access.



2. Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa: located just past Byasi, around 35-40 km /1 hr from Rishikesh. Spread in 12.5 acres. Facilities include: Spa, Private yoga sessions, access to the Ganges, Swimming pool (pool reopening subject to state Govt. permission to hotels, in general). Hotel has private pool in some higher room categories exclusively for the guests staying in those room categories. Hotel offers multi-cuisine restaurant, different category of rooms & suites and other facilities.
   
   Starting room category is called "Deluxe room": 38 sq. mt. with views of the Ganges. The room features WiFi, plugs, a large flat-screen television, ensuite bath with rain-shower, premium fixtures and bath amenities.



3. The Roseate Ganges: located near Byasi, around 23 km /40m from Rishikesh. Facilities include: Spa, Access to private Ganges beach, group activities like organic Farm Tour, basic yoga sessions are available but, are subject to govt. permissions to hotels, in general. Hotel offers multi-cuisine restaurant, different category of rooms & suites and other facilities.
   
   The retreat houses 16 luxurious villas, each a fine blend of minimalism and luxury.



4. Hotel Lemon Tree Premier : located on the banks of the Ganges with private beach, in Tapovan -4 km from Rishikesh city centre. Hotel Facilities include: spa (closed as on Oct 05, 2020), activities like Yoga in group, common swimming pool are available subject to govt. permissions to hotels, in general.
   
   Hotel has 65 stylish and elegant rooms and suites, combining elegance of old world charm with modern amenities and facilities. Room categories include Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms and Suites.
   
   Superior rooms: around 250 sq. ft. These rooms with ensuite bath, have a balcony with views of the mountains and the Ganges. Standard amenities include WiFi access, electronic safe, mini bar, telephone with direct dialling, iron and ironing board, LED/LCD TV with HD/SD DTH services, Tea/Coffee maker etc.



5. Hotel Ganga Kinare: located in Rishikesh city, on the banks of the Ganges. Hotel facilities include: Spa, complimentary open air Jaccuzzi, morning & evening Ganga Aarti. The hotel has a private beach -one can take bath in the Ganges (hotel provides life jackets & robes). Private sessions of yoga also available at extra cost.
   
   The Ganges facing rooms (2nd higher room category) are called Premium Rooms: 320 sq. feet rooms having 180° uninterrupted view of the Ganges. These rooms are decorated in warm tones, offer a queen size bed, air-conditioning, a TV with satellite channels, wardrobe and ensuite bath.
